Ida Schyum (b. 1992)
Born in 1992, Ida Schyum is a young Danish curator and art historian working with an interdisciplinary approach to contemporary art. She has been curating works questioning our understandings of nature and technology at Roskilde Festival from 2016 and onwards. She recently curated a solo show with the weaver Inge Bjørn at Galleri Tom Christoffersen, and she is going to co-curate Alt_Cph2020 with Laboratory for Aesthetics and Ecology.
Previously, Schyum has done presentations on artificial intelligence and art for the conference AIIA at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences in 2018, and at the Institute of Significant Experiences at the Department of Communication at the University of Copenhagen in 2019. In 2020 she is giving a guest lecture on artificial intelligence and art at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.
